Apace releases its new Production Workflow and Asset Management postMAM 4.0 for cloud ready and Multi-site collaboration

Las Vegas, Nevada - Apace Systems Corporation®, a leading media production workflow solution provider, today announced availability of its fourth generation production workflow and media asset management. The new platform's goal is to support cloud and multi-site media data for collaborative production from anywhere. Via its new look and feel web based user interface further enhanced for a better intuitive user experience, the built in workflow engine automate tasks including backup sent to cloud, ODM and tape. It further supports GPU proxy acceleration to improve ingest speed.

Additionally large scale media management is solved and virtualized for interactive access for any distributed data set anywhere in a hybrid media cloud setting. The application can run in the cloud, on edge as a virtual machine or on dedicated Apace's media gateway engines to further offer a turnkey experience for user deployment.

Workflows are further automated to manage data for archive to cloud (S3, Azure, etc.), to tape and Apace intelligent Offline Disk Management platform called ODM. A revised more powerful Channel allows both for production review process and on-demand streaming for a larger audience. "With the 4th generation postMAM 4 we further enhanced workflow management and Channel access to deal with large scale heterogeneous datasets and complicated workflow. Comment, search and add to Adobe CC timeline are streamlined and with a built-in review collaborative pipeline accessible from anywhere and anytime. It significantly shortens production to air time and adds workflow flexibility," said Dr. Lee Hu, President and CTO of Apace Systems. The new platform, can offer end-to-end production to IP based broadcast solutions recently announced via cooperation with NDI based platforms from NewTek.
