NAB Show 2009
Booth SL9426

ORANGE, Calif., April 13th, 2009 - Apace Systems Corporation®, a leading media workflow and storage solution provider for all media, announces immediate availability of its vendor neutral integrated workflow solutions enabling media project level collaboration and interoperability.

Apace Web 2.0-based application and storage system platform, interWorks, ties together all popular multi-vendor media applications and camera tools for video, audio, graphics, 2D/3D animation, etc. - from ingest, transcode, project management, media asset management, editing, archiving, to distribution and presentation locally via Ethernet and over Internet.

Customers are facing ever increasing project complicity, ever growing media data set and media formats, interoperability among different tools and platforms, variety of cameras/ film scanners/ tape ingest, and workflow issues due to lack of interoperability and communication of proprietary multi-vendor media workgroups at the application, storage, format and project levels, causing media to reside in limiting silos, hampering productivity in content creation, management and distribution.

For the first time, Apace interWorks platform glues the project management for Apple Final Cut pro, Avid, Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas, Grass Valley/Canopus EDIUS, AfterEffects and Panasonic P2 and Sony XDCAM Cameras and transcode services from 3rd party such as Telestream, Rhozet, and others all together. Apace provides hardware and software solutions to streamline the content creation process with enhanced mechanism for various levels of communication, collaboration and management. Apace product families consist of specialty vStor/ eStor storage systems, postMAM postproduction media asset management, ViEW online collaboration and cut and Octopa facility-wide storage management and now interWorks for project workflow management offering an umbrella of tool suites to collaborate, communicate and manage end-to-end projects from camera shot to final cut media distribution.

The benefits in efficiency and cost savings are tremendous as editing, review, and approval process, and layers of communications are streamlined between interoperable editing applications, stages of graphics and audio environment, and upload, ingest, edit, archive and distribution of raw footage can be extended via Internet and collaborated globally and greatly reduce turn around time for production.

Apace offers advanced storage server platforms that further facilitate the integration and seamless deployment of its application layer software such as interWorks and its MAM solutions as a complete platform solution package.

Apace Systems will showcase its integrated workflows at NAB 2009 Las Vegas Nevada, April 20-23rd, 2009, at Apace booth #SL9426.
